Adding the final touches to this sweet bathroom reno!

As always, the details make the design. Custom pleated shower curtain makes this guest bathroom feel special, along with the wallpaper and wall paneling. And that beautiful green tile - progress never looked so good.

A recap of my autumn adventures & special moments with family and friends 🍂📸💚

1, 2, and 3: Vegas, Baby! Another trip around the sun, and a super quick trip to Las Vegas to celebrate my birthday in mid-September. My son who lives in LA came out to join us!! We went to the sphere and to see my childhood idol, Donny Osmond! (yes, I bought the purple socks!)

4: Parents' Weekend at University of Georgia -- We visited with long-time friends and went to football game, so fun!

5 and 6: Dad -- In mid-October my father passed away, succumbing to complications from Post-Polio Syndrome. He was a quiet yet strong presence in my life and he will be missed.

7: Light the Night Fundraising Event -- Always a special night. Mark and I raised over a thousand dollars for LLS (now called Blood Cancer United), and walked the night with lights in honor of my son Ben (lymphoma) and in memory of my dad Bill (leukemia).

8,9, and 10: Costa Rica in November -- My annual Girls' Trip took me to Costa Rica this year -- during the rainy season! We still had BIG adventures, ziplining over waterfalls and spotting sloths and tasting chocolate and coffee. It was a wonderful, wet, amazing trip with the best girlfriends ever!

Thanks for being a part of my life journey! Glad YOU are a part of it, I am grateful!

Right off the kitchen, this breezeway now serves a new purpose — a custom-built homework station for a family of five.

With four kids in high school and college, this family needed a designated zone for studying, charging devices, and staying organized. We designed a functional workspace using drawer bases and a custom-fit, hand-stained butcher block top — blending utility with warmth and character.

This project is a perfect example of how we tailor each design to the rhythms of family life. With our in-house general contractor, we’re able to transform underused spaces into purposeful, beautiful extensions of the home — even in ways clients may not have imagined possible.

Demolition is underway on a bathroom renovation that tells an important story. At first, our client wanted to handle the design selections on their own. But as the project began, they quickly realized the value of having professional expertise to guide the details and ensure every element came together seamlessly.

That’s where our team stepped in—providing selections, samples, and of course the installation professionals and the implementation support to bring clarity, cohesion, and confidence to the process. This project is a great reminder that design expertise isn’t only for full-scale renovations. The reassurance of a designer’s eye is the key to a thoughtfully transformed space!
